This facility is a 48-bed emergency shelter, providing overnight accommodation for people who do not meet the admission criteria of other institutions. The VinziRast-CortiHaus opened in 2008; donations from the construction industry enabled the construction of 16 apartments. In 2010, a shared apartment for homeless alcoholics was also opened. The VinziRast-MITTENDRIN project has been in operation since 2011 (operations began in May 2013).
