1. Charity Art Auction

From 2001 to 2007, under the artistic direction of Margit Niederhuber, the foundation worked more closely with artists who expressed their commitment and responsibility for human rights.

At the first art auction in Vienna's Semper Depot, numerous prominent Austrian visual artists made donations. Some works explicitly deal with the subject of human rights. In addition, pictures were auctioned that Bruno Kreisky had received from painters, graphic artists and caricaturists from all over the world – out of gratitude and appreciation for his many years of commitment to peace and justice.

A profit of more than €36,000 was achieved at this art auction.
