Oswald Amstler conducted many humanitarian actions. He began the program Bridge of Society to People. He also published pamphlets dedicated to the children who were brought up in concentration camps.
In 1984 the material was used for two exhibits titled Theresienstädter Child Drawings and Ghetto Orphans. In the 1980s Amstler also published a pamphlet about solidarity and friendship among the children of foreign workers.
He is also known for his book of pictures titled Children of National Socialism. The proceeds of this book went to the international childrens hospital in Warsaw.
