Der Ausschuss für soziale und medizinische Hilfe für Palästinenser (The Committee for Social and Medical Help for Palestinians) (Austria)

The Committee for Social and Medical Help for Palestinians is a supporter of the Union of Palestinian Medical Relief Committees. The Union is a health institution in Israel. With their trained physicians, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, and health workers, they hope to improve health care in Israel. They operate mainly in rural areas, and hope to bring primary health care to these areas. They also support the building of new medical clinics and hope to create cooperation among Israel’s ethnic groups through their efforts.

The Committee for Social and Medical Aid for Palestinians operates out of Austria. They support the Palestinian people in their fight for justice and peace. The organization was founded in December of 1987. They brought in donations for the Medical Relief Committees specifically. Thanks to their support many programs have been created by the Union of Palestinian Medical Relief Committees. In February of 1988 they were able to create a new first aid program due to their contributions.
