The Catholic Social Academy was founded in 1958 by the Austrian Bishops Conference. They hope to increase public awareness of civil rights through publications and reports. They also promote political dialogue and sponsor discussions. Their book series titled Social Focus presents real world issues.
They have an information center News and Reports which provides background information and commentary to social development. The Catholic Social Academy believes that people of various heritages can learn about their rights through courses and educational programs. (http://www.ksoe.at).
